Signed “GLUCKMANN” on the lower right

This tender painting of a lady’s nude is by Russian painter Grigory Gluckmann. She is fixing her hair as if she is just about to take a bath. Completely undressed, she turns her back and is looking down in order to capture the entire hair on the upper back of her head. A white fabric is under her bottom for its use to wipe her body later. The center background is white as to indicate the sunlight coming in through a window against her body. The rest is painted in dark colors as shadow on the walls. The painting is great condition, executed in oil on panel and is signed “GLUCKMANN” on the lower right.
