Each circular dish is featured with a gilt-edged reticulated rim and four gild-heightened pale green scroll feet, the center is filled with a pile of fresh spring pea pods and scattered puce blossoms and leaves.
Some pods are open to reveal the peas within.
Another dish with pea pods on the left is in the collection of Victoria and Albert Museum, London United Kingdom, exemplifying well of the English Rococo revival from about 1820 after its original Rococo style came to England from France in the 1730s.
